Amelia Taylor is a New Zealand violinist, educator, and artistic director with an international career spanning chamber music and orchestral performance. She has performed throughout New Zealand, the United States, Mexico, and Europe, including appearances with Opus Orchestra, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Lansing Symphony Orchestra, and Midland Symphony Orchestra.

She is a founding member of the Harikoa Collective and performs extensively with the Taylor-Larumbe Duo. Amelia previously founded ArcaSōnica, an international chamber music collective based in Mexico, which presented performances, masterclasses, chamber music coaching, and collaborative programmes with young musicians. This work eventually evolved into RimuFest, a successful chamber music festival based in Tauranga, New Zealand. Amelia is also a certified Suzuki violin teacher in both the USA and New Zealand, with private studios in San Diego and Tauranga.

She holds degrees from the University of Waikato, Louisiana State University, and the University of Michigan, where she studied with distinguished violinists including Espen Lilleslatten and David Halen.
