Jesbery Hartono-Hall

Jesbery Hartono-Hall is a passionate musician who enjoys sharing her love of music through performing as well as teaching the next generation of young musicians.
As an orchestral musician, Jesbery has performed as Assistant Principal Cello with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Opus Orchestra. She performs with the Auckland Philharmonia and Auckland Chamber Orchestra, and has also worked with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Bach Musica NZ and Orchestra Wellington. Jesbery is active in chamber music, and enjoys collaborating with many musicians around the country. In 2026 she was invited to be one of the adjudicators of the distinguished NZCT Chamber Music NZ competition.
In 2025 Jesbery was invited to a prestigious tour around Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina with the Kralj Tomislav Folklore Ensemble NZ and Croatia's gem of esteemed Llado musicians where all performances were held at historical sites. She has also played in renowned venues and festivals around Europe including the Berlin Konzerthaus.
Holding a Master of Music with First Class Honours, Jesbery runs a private cello studio and also teaches at Epsom Music School.
